Blue Ox Millworks - www.blueoxmill.com

Situated in the heart of the redwood empire, this custom Victorian millwork shop builds architectural details for customers around the world and has served two U.S. presidents.

Also a living history park and a school of the traditional arts, the company had a lot of website needs. They wanted a classically elegant site with limited distractions and a home page that made it easy to keep track of the latest developements in all three major aspects of their company.

What they say...

Eric Hollenbeck, co-owner of the Blue Ox Millworks"I wanted to write and let you know what a pleasure it has been working with you these past years, and also let you know what an impact your web site has had on our business.

"Many times we hear from our clients that they have spent more than an hour looking over our web site. These are the clients that end up being some of the largest jobs we have ever done! We went from thinking that a $5,000 job was a big job, to working with contracts of over $100,000.

"Customers can easily find us, and navigate the site, and the site holds their interest ~ all important elements in connecting with potential clients.

"You are a rare combination of many talents: you are knowledgeable about the technical stuff, but you also have an artistic eye for lay-out and design, AND you are fabulous with the written word! I have always enjoyed the humorous touches you have put on the site!

"It has been very important for me to be able to say, “We need to add ______” and have you pull the pictures together, do the write–up and put it online. But at the same time, you have been able to work with my write-ups, or change the first drafts of your work. Very important!

"Thank you so much. We look forward to working with you for years to come."

Shake the Bard Theatre Company - www.shakethebard.com

Shake the Bard is a new theatre company in Arcata, California, dedicated to education and classical theatre. Though most of its members have been involved in the local theatre scene for years, the company is young and looking to expand their influence.

They wanted a website that could tell about upcoming shows and fundraisers. They also needed something with a lot of pictures and a bit of color to it. Lastly, they wanted to sell tickets online and eventually expand into merchandising

You have exceeded my expectations in the web site you designed for Shake The Bard Theatre Company. We are truly grateful for the long hours and quality you have put in.You delivered great service while constantly refining the web site and updating the material.
